Boot into Recovery Mode for Acer Laptops

To boot to the system recovery partition in Acer press and hold the "Alt" key and press "F10" on start-up.

Problems:
If the recovery partition becomes in accessible you can use the following procedure.

Boot up to a DOS prompt using any Boot CD that you use.
Change to the Acer recovery partition.
Go to the RYTOOLS folder.
Copy "rtmbr.bin" and "mbrwrdos.exe" to the "C" Drive.
Under a command prompt type "mbrwrdos.exe install rtmbr.bin"
The computer should confirm the creation of the mbr file.
Reboot your computer and use the trigger listed above to enter system recovery.
